Twenty-eight year old, Oscar-nominated, Aussie actor Heath Ledger was just found dead in his New York apartment!
Details are still coming out, but it was confirmed that there were numerous prescription pills by his body.
Shocking. Shocking!
Heath was nominated for an Academy Award in 2006 for his groundbreaking performance in “Brokeback Mountain,” and starred most recently as one of many […]

Before (movie) After (mugshot)
Remember that cute kid from “The Client”?
Well, he grew up to be junkie, and today he was found dead in his home here in L.A. (Cause unknown, but we have our guesses.)
What a sad story! That’s like the exact cautionary tale stereotype we all imagine, and then there it is: Child star, […]

The world has lost one of the great mustaches our time - that of 73 year-old crooner, Robert Goulet, who passed away Tuesday from a rare lung disease, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here in L.A.
Goulet made a name for himself some 50 years ago with his smooth pitch-perfect baritone voice. Elvis Presley once saw the […]

FYI, Starked-Fans: We apologize for the uncharacteristically serious tone of this story… it’s kind of a bummer though.
Beloved tenor, Luciano Pavarotti, lost his year-long battle with pancreatic cancer early Thursday morning, and passed away at his home in Modena, Italy.
The opera superstar - arguably one of the most well-known opera singers in history - was perhaps best known for […]

Television magnate, Merv Griffin, passed away today at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here in LA after a decade-long fight against prostate cancer. He was 82.
The name “Merv Griffin” immediately brings to mind game shows. He created both “Jeopardy” (he also wrote the show’s famous theme song, which reportedly earned him somewhere between $70-$80 million in royalties!) […]

Let’s just get it out of the way now, shall we? Eeeeeeeewwww!!!
There are two main points of weirdness in this story:
1. Hundred and sixty year-old propped-up corpse, Keith Richards, wanted to clarify that he did not snort cocaine (Whaaa?!) mixed with his father’s ashes….
2. …But he did snort his father’s ashes!! Good Lord, man!
In an […]

I didn’t think it was possible for me to find Tom Cruise any more repellent than I already did, but then these pictures surface, and - ta da! - he’s creepier than ever:
Tom got the ja from Germany to start filming on his latest project, “Valkyrie,” on Thursday, in which he plays Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, the […]

This might be the best story I’ve heard in a very long time (aside from the Lindsay-Lohan-being-a-lesbian thing). It’s great on so many levels: Andy Dick gets a much-needed smack-down, Jon Lovitz turns out to be a total bad-ass (who knew?!), and there’s a fantastic revenge aspect that is just awesome.
Lovitz has had a serious […]

Fashion icon, Liz Claiborne died yesterday in Manhattan, at the age of 78.
According to her husband, Arthur Ortenberg, Claiborne died of complications caused by a very rare form of cancer that affects the lining of the abdomen, which she had been battling since 1997.
She was respected world-wide as a fashion designer who dominated the market of working-women […]
