Kanye West Shows Cleavage At Grammy’s

In a move that shouldn’t surprise anybody, Kanye West wore a stylish, yet slightly ridiculous outfit to the 48th Annual Grammy Awards at Los Angeles’ Staples Center Wednesday night.Â
I’m not talking about the oversized ski-goggle sunglasses that he wore both indoors and at night. Maybe he had lasik surgery to correct his vision before the show. That’s understandable.Â
I’m not talking about the gold chain. Hell, that’s the only piece of clothing he had on that linked rappers of the past to the present.
I’m not even talking about the red blouse that he called a shirt and that opened up to his navel. If I made millions of dollars by making 2 albums about myself, I’d be wearing some crazy ish too.
No, what really was ridiculous about Kanye’s outfit was the gloves. Come on. Gloves? Seriously? First of all, nobody in Los Angeles should be allowed to wear gloves, ever. We all experienced the scarf phenomenon in Los Angeles 2 winters ago and I hope I’m not the only one who realized how stupid that was. (I think when I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt and jeans and a multi-colored, winter scarf at the Cabo Cantina on Sunset Blvd. was when I finally lost it.)
Second of all, we all know that Kanye wore the gloves just to wear them and to start something new. I like to think though that Kanye’s head has gotten so big that he believes that everybody else in the word has germs that he doesn’t have and that he always wears gloves to make sure he doesn’t catch them. Also, he constantly wears the blue blocker shades to block out the sun, which he also believes to be inferior to himself. I heard a quote in an interview the other day(which I really made up) where Kanye said, “Yo, how could the sun be that cool, it can’t shine as bright as me. Also, I know the sun adminstered AIDS.”

In other news:Â Apparently Prince is pissed about the outfit.
