Patrick Swayze Fighting Pancreatic Cancer
Perez Hilton has worked his zexy little but off all day to get to the bottom of the “explosive” National Enquirer story claiming that “Dirty Dancing” star Partick Swayze has has 5 weeks to live - and he finally got the real scoop…
Swayze does, in fact, have pancreatic cancer (which is very serious - send good vibes his way!) but 5 weeks to go was (hopefully) a little much. Here’s the official statement from Pat’s peeps:
“Actor Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Patrick’s physician Dr. George Fisher states, ‘Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.’ Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects. The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family.”
Like we said, send out some good vibes for the beloved dirty dancer, and in the mean time enjoy this weird video featuring Patrick Swayze, John Travolta, and a great song called “Two Dudes” by Shitake Monkey:

Patrick, I am 57 years old and have been fighting Sarcoma Cancer for 2 years now. I have found three things that have helped me, 1. Faith, 2. Positive Attitude, 3. A strong support system to lean on. May god bless you and touch you with his healing touch and help you fight that cancer. Don’t give up Patrick. God Bless
